GOLF BAG STORAGE SYSTEM FOR COUNTRY CLUBS AND RESORTS

Designing and installing golf bag storage systems for country clubs and resorts can be a challenge. Golf bags are bulky and heavy, yet they need to be kept organized, secure, and stored in a visually appealing way. To minimize the distance that guests and caddies have to carry bags, golf bags typically need to be stored in an area that’s convenient to golf carts.

A planned community in Florida was building a new clubhouse for one of its golf courses, and the planning team wanted to provide a convenient golf bag storage system for residents and their guests. They also wanted every aspect of the guest experience to reflect the fast-growing community’s commitment to comfort, ease, and quality.

The garage floor of the clubhouse was raised slightly in the storage area to prevent water from accumulating around the shelving.

This clubhouse uses a Spacesaver golf bag storage system to optimize space and create a sleek, attractive storage area for golf bags and clubs.

The Spacesaver consultant worked closely with the architect to ensure the system would fit perfectly within the allotted space while still accommodating 240 golf bags.

Staff can easily reconfigure the shelving interior without special tools.

The clubhouse architect approached the local Spacesaver consultant for ideas. The consultant worked with staff and the architect to design a Wheelhouse® Modular Mobile Storage System that would hold 240 bags inside the golf cart garage near the guest entrance. To prevent standing water from accumulating around the shelving, the architect designed a concrete platform that was slightly raised above the garage floor level.

After the planning team approved the design, a local, factory-certified crew installed the system and trained staff on its use. The Spacesaver golf bag storage system is manually operated, and its attractive appearance reinforces the community’s high-end reputation. Staff can easily reconfigure the shelving and dividers inside the system without special tools.

Community members have been so pleased with the system’s appearance and function that they recently replaced the shelving at another nearby clubhouse with a new Spacesaver system.
